The Constructor Knowledge Institute (C>KI) is a newly established research institute based in Bremen, Germany, dedicated to advancing applied research in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. C>KI’s research activities aim at leveraging cutting-edge CS methodologies and ML models across a wide range of interdisciplinary domains, including Robotics, the Metaverse, Neurosciences, Neuropsychology, Education and Learning, and Life Sciences.

CKI maintains a close partnership with Constructor University, collaborating on joint research projects. The institute offers a dynamic and innovative environment where joint PhD students and researchers can engage in impactful, applied research in the aforementioned fields.

The CKI translates its overarching mission into the following goals by:

  • Leveraging CS technologies to address challenges in various fields, delivering innovative solutions tailored to industry needs.
  • Providing research opportunities, mentorship, and involvement in collaborative projects to young researchers and PhDs. 
  • Encouraging interdisciplinary research by fostering collaboration between diverse fields, emphasizing the integration of theoretical research with practical applications. 
  • Promoting education and vocational training through programs designed to advance expertise in scientific research, engineering, and technology, developed in collaboration with Constructor University and industry partners.
