Student ClubsJoining a club at Constructor offers a fantastic opportunity to discover new activities, develop skills, and create memorable experiences alongside fellow students. More than 55 clubs bring energy, creativity, and connection to campus life—whether you're trying something new or diving deeper into a longstanding interest. Our clubs are created and led by our own students and span a broad range of interests, including sports, arts, culture, dance & relaxation, community & outreach, tech, games, and academics & development. Because clubs reflect the passions and initiatives of our students, the range of available clubs evolves continuously from semester to semester.

Varsity Clubs
Our varsity clubs represent our university in external competitions, performances, and official events. They offer a structured environment for students who want to train regularly, challenge themselves, and become part of a dedicated team. Participation in a varsity club provides opportunities to strengthen discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills while also playing an important role in showcasing the talent and commitment of our student community.
Constructor University Rowing Team
Bringing together ambitious newcomers and experienced rowers, the Constructor University Rowing Team selects around 25 committed students each year to train and compete at a high level. For around 25 years, the team cooperates closely with Vegesacker Ruderverein e.V. (VRV), giving members the chance to develop their skills, and experience German club culture firsthand. Training sessions take place both on the Lesum river and in the advanced on campus rowing tank, preparing the team for competitions against other universities and international regattas.
Constructor University Football Team
Passion for football lives in our Constructor University Football Team, proudly competing in the Bremen Kreisliga B league. As the 3rd men’s team of SG Aumund Vegesack (SAV), they have been part of the club for many years and contribute to the sports spirit of the Bremen-Nord community. Each season, more than 20 players are registered and take part in about 15 matches, showing commitment and energy on the pitch.
Constructor University Orchestra
Bringing together talented musicians from across campus, the Constructor University Orchestra Club adds artistic energy to key moments in university life. With around 35 dedicated members, the orchestra performs at official ceremonies, self-organized concerts, and other community-focused events. Many of the ensemble’s pieces are arranged by the students themselves, reflecting their talent, collaboration, and passion for making music together.
Annual Club Fair
Every year, our Club Fair brings together many of the active clubs on campus, offering a great opportunity to explore the communities that shape student life at Constructor University. It’s the perfect moment to learn about clubs’ regular practice times, upcoming projects, and plans for the semester, while meeting club leaders and members in person. Held at the beginning of each academic year, usually in mid-September, the fair makes it easy to discover new interests and find the groups that inspire you.
