Constructor University is excited to announce the finalists in this year’s Constructor Start program. The 26 finalist startups were selected from more than 1,600 applications received from 50 different countries. In addition to accessing exclusive resources, mentorship and networking opportunities through the Constructor Group and its global network, each of the early-stage tech startups will have a chance to receive up to $1M in funding, starting with a $100k prize awarded to the best pitch at Constructor University’s Demo Day event, hosted on its Bremen campus in January 2026.

Constructor Start is a comprehensive online accelerator program designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage startups innovating spaces from AI and Deeptech to education, software and more. Designed to bridge the critical gap between innovation and market success, Constructor Start gives participants the opportunity to refine and build their scalable business through access to personalized mentorship from industry leaders, as well as the educational resources and research labs of both Constructor and Nexford University. The most promising startups also have the opportunity to receive up to $1M in direct investment from Constructor Capital, with no fees or equity exchange.

The program is a cornerstone of Constructor University’s commitment to entrepreneurship and innovation in the Bremen region and beyond, complementing its academic programs by providing real-world startup experience, connecting students and researchers with industry leaders, and strengthening partnerships between academia and the business world. By fostering a global community of entrepreneurs, Constructor Start contributes to a thriving startup ecosystem that extends beyond our campus, helping founders scale their solutions and make a lasting impact on society.

While the funding can be life-changing for previous finalists like healthtech startup Kudu, whose innovative approach to battery life in medical implants took home the $100k prize at last year’s Demo Day – the program’s holistic approach to mentorship and development can be truly priceless: “I particularly liked the mentor matching,” said Yuval Shklarsh, CEO and CTO of Kudu. “My mentor really helped me come up with a proper way to present a business plan.”
