Constructor University and CELT Colleges Sign Strategic MoU in Baku
Constructor University, Germany and CELT Colleges, Azerbaijan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Baku, marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration to provide academic tutoring and personalized support for students enrolled in Constructor University’s online programs.
The goal of the agreement is to launch local tutoring support services for Azerbaijani students enrolled in Constructor University’s online degree programs. This initiative will ensure that students not only gain access to world-class education from Germany but also receive hands-on, localized support from CELT Colleges to enhance their academic success.
The partnership combines Constructor University’s rigorous online learning opportunities with CELT Colleges’ two decades of expertise in tutoring and student mentoring. Students will benefit from subject-specific tutoring, and academic skills development.
The event was attended by media representatives, the leadership and staff of both institutions, as well as Prof. Chingiz Abdullayev, the Chairman of the German-Azerbaijani Society. In his speech, he highly appreciated this initiative, considering the memorandum a significant contribution to strengthening cultural and economic ties between the two countries, as well as to Azerbaijani students gaining international education and experience.
Prof. Thomas Auf der Heyde, Vice President for International Outreach and Managing Director at Constructor University, emphasized the importance of the country in its international outreach efforts. “Constructor University recognizes significant potential in strengthening its ties with Azerbaijan and its institutions,” Dr. Auf der Heyde said. “Azerbaijani students represent the fourth-largest international group among the 2000 students on our Bremen campus. Building on this foundation, we now aim to establish a long-term, direct presence in Azerbaijan. Our new partnership with CELT Colleges marks an important milestone in this endeavor.”
