Merito Universities Group – Challenges of a Multi-Organisation and Multi-Campus Network of Non-Public Universities
This webinar is a part of an Innovative Universities Global Webinar Series.
Founded in Poland in 1994, Merito Universities Group is a private higher education network that has grown into one of the country’s largest and most distinctive institutions with 7 universities in 12 cities. With campuses in multiple cities, Merito combines a business-oriented curriculum with a strong focus on digital infrastructure and flexible study pathways. Its model is characterized by close collaboration with industry partners, offering students applied learning opportunities co-developed with companies. The university is also notable for its network approach: rather than a single campus identity, Merito emphasizes accessibility and regional engagement across Poland.
In this session, President Paweł Zygarłowski of Merito Universities Development Centre will talk about a data-driven university network operating within a matrix management system, focusing on innovative management and the implementation of advanced technologies, where constant challenges and ongoing change serve as key drivers of growth and strategic development.
