The Alumni Office had the pleasure of welcoming the alumna, Joanna Nelson (GEM '13), back to campus after almost 12 years! The creative force behind Hambre treated us to an inspiring evening of film, storytelling, and career insights.

Over 50 students attended the event, eager to hear about Joanna’s journey, motivations, and the story behind Hambre. The night featured a special screening of the film, enjoyed with snacks and drinks.

The evening wrapped up with an engaging Q&A session, where Joanna generously shared her experiences and advice. Many students, inspired by her path, gathered around her during the networking session, asking for tips on breaking into the industry.

It was truly a fantastic evening, and we look forward to welcoming more alumni back to campus soon!
