This year, Constructor University came together in celebration with families and friends, commemorating the graduates’ dedication, development, and commitment during their years of undergraduate studies. The two-day event, June 12th and 13th, was filled with sweetness, reflection, and hope for the future. From the inspiring speeches to the joyful after-party, we will take a look back at the moments that made this year’s graduation unforgettable.
Day 1 (June 12th): Commencement Gala & Alumni Reception
Commencement Gala at the SCC
The opening event for graduation 2025 was the commencement Gala where students and their families began a formal and inspiring day at the Sports Convention Center. Notable speakers, such as the university’s chairman Serg Bell and the Mayor of Vegesack, had attended to reflect on the university’s journey and growth, warmly connecting everyone with insightful remarks on the future of education. Professors and alumni also got to speak on their wisdom, as they witnessed the students growing from being teenagers to young adults. Additionally, the graduates themselves gave reflective speeches on their academic and social life, providing tips for future students and commemorating heartfelt moments.
Alumni Reception at the IRC Foyer & Terrace
Right after the gala was the Alumni Reception, the Information Resource Center foyer and terrace turned into a celebration of intergenerational connections. The alumni welcomed the Class of 2025 into the global network that connects all Constructor University’s alumni and had conversations about the importance of staying in touch post-graduation. This encouraged the graduates to join in and expand the alumni community. With champagne, snacks, and shared stories, the students were surrounded by warmth and nostalgia.
Day 2 (June 13th): School Ceremonies & After Party
School Ceremonies
Day two of graduation was the day that opened a new chapter in the graduates’ lives. Three ceremonies were held in the Sports Convention Center for each school – the School of Computer Science & Engineering, the School of Science, and the School of Business, Social & Decision Sciences – from the morning until the afternoon. Each graduate received their diploma and shared emotional moments of closure and pride. The graduates, family, and friends cheered for one another, creating the most jubilant atmosphere.
Campus Celebrations
Right after the ceremonies, students took pictures outside the Sports Convention Center in celebration of their moment. And of course, they went to take the iconic group photo and tossed their hats together in unison in front of the Information Resource Center. A sense of joy, honor, and satisfaction filled the campus air.
After Party at the Congress Centrum Bremen
At last, the moment everyone was waiting for (after receiving the diplomas, duh), the after party! The final bash was a festive celebration held at the Congress Centrum Bremen, filled with music, dancing, and laughter. Graduates partied alongside family, friends, and alumni creating a wonderful end to this unforgettable chapter of their lives.
