April 1: April Fool's Day

April 3–5: ArtFest

Art lets the mind speak without words; our Constructor University students celebrated their creativity in the largest student-led exhibition in Bremen: ArtFest! Coming together with professionals at the Haus am Wasser Vegesack and on campus grounds, they turned spaces into immersive artistic experiences with art displays, live performances, and hands-on creative workshops, mesmerizing the visitors and inspiring them.

April 5: Rowing Club Victory

After months of early mornings and intense practice, the Constructor University Rowing Club did not disappoint in the competitive race against the Bremen University Club. The 8 men team had no limit to giving the competition their all, securing a narrow victory in the 1km race. However, they were challenged by Bremen again to a rematch in a 300-meter sprint. Rising to the occasion again and breaking their own stroke-rate record, they brought home a second win, keeping our heads held high.

April 11–27: Osterwiese Easter Festival

If you walked behind the Bremen Hauptbahnhof, I bet you could feel the adrenaline pumping the Easter vibes. With dazzling fireworks in the opening ceremony, the Osterwiese Easter Festival lit up the sky, bringing a smile to people’s faces. From the sweet smells of chocolate-covered strawberries and roasted almonds to the heart-racing rides, people were constantly between thrills and laughs, taking control of the colorful mayhem of spring!

April 12: Yuri’s Night

Are you a fan of space? Then Yuri’s Night was the event for you to celebrate human spaceflight at the Olbers Planetarium. Visitors were taken through the intricate history of space exploration, then celebrated their new knowledge at Butschern am Eck in Viertel. Connecting with Bremen’s aerospace hub, curiosity was sparked into something deeper than just stargazing.

April 14–21: Spring Break

It was about time for a break. Whether students visited their families, explored new countries, or even stayed on campus, everyone was able to take one last breath before the stress of exams hit.

April 23: Gym Cheer-Up

Getting a boost and cheering up was what campus needed after a long spring break, and that is exactly what the Sports Advisors provided to the students. A regular Wednesday transformed into a mini fitness festival, where good vibes and sneakers came together. Friendly challenges were made, giving students a chance to move after Easter's rest. It got students back into the mentality that it is grind time.

April 25: Karaoke Night

Who doesn’t like to sing along to their favorite song? The Spectrum Club hosted a spring karaoke night where every performance—whether it was a solo ballad or a group sing-along—brought a no-pressure atmosphere. Even first-time singers found the courage to get up on stage, making it a night to remember and a time to let go.

April 26: Mix Tape Party

The Latin beats and international party hits brought a night of dancing and rhythm. Students dressed up, showed up, and partied like no one was watching. The versatility of the music and high energy were the forces that drove the vibe, bringing everyone together and creating memories.

April 28: Student Townhall

If you wanted to ask questions, raise concerns, and suggest improvements for campus life, the opportunity was found at the Student Townhall, where every student has a voice. Everyone had the chance to directly engage with the university leadership council in the ICC Conference Hall and on Zoom. The representatives were there and ready to listen and respond to the students. The Student Townhall was a reminder that community means communication.

April 30: C3 Quiz Night

Before starting the hectic weeks of exams, the month ended on a nerdy, fun note with the C3 Quiz Night. It wasn’t only trivia—there were snacks, drinks, and laughter, especially coming from the team costume contest that showcased people’s artistic side. The teams competed, keeping the energy high all night with pop culture puzzles and different questions. What a send-off it was to the long month of April.

Conclusion

This month had a long list of events that fit the students’ needs, bringing fun, competition, creativity, and connection. As we keep getting closer to exams, the memories that are being created are a reminder that university life is not only about studying, but also about community, growth, and making every moment worth it.
